Wicked Creative turns 9

Today is a big day! That's right, my little business, Wicked Creative, turns 9 today.

I was going to spout a load of waffle about what I've learnt and all that jazz, but instead I'm just going to keep it simple and say a huge thank you to all of my connections and clients, past and present, for helping me to still be doing what I love 9 years down the line. And extra special thanks to the freelance community - I wouldn't have achieved even a fraction of what I have without you all. Many of you have become people that I genuinely can't get through life without.

So, what's next? I may as well put these desires for the future of Wicked Creative out in to the world.

πŸ’₯ Realistically I just want to keep doing more of what I do already - working with great brands, mostly in healthcare/tech/cyber/digital transformation, that really value the content they create, whether that's for internal or external use. I've been fortunate to work with some fantastic clients, particularly in the last couple of years.

πŸ“£ I'd like to do more work with healthcare companies in the cancer space, and do a very small part in making a difference to people's lives.

πŸ™ˆ As much as it scares the shit out of me, I would also like to have the opportunity to speak - on podcasts or in person - about how I've used my experiences to build my, ick for using this word, personal brand.

♀ I would love to have an opportunity to talk to people about developing a running female-led communities (I am the founder of the Female Copywriters's Alliance) and why they are so important.

πŸ™‹β€β™€οΈ And finally, I'll be doing more of a push towards digital and in-person campaign design and management, drawing on my extensive experience in in-person events for Best Western and my time co-ordinating Global Biosimilars Week for the IGBA.

πŸ™Š Now to celebrate by having a wisdom tooth pulled later today!

πŸ₯‚ Here's to the next 9!
